USS Missouri Tours at Pearl Harbor

One of the top attractions for travelers on Oahu is the USS Arizona Battleship at Pearl Harbor.  On December 7th, 1941, this battleship was struck ferociously when Japanese Kamakazi planes attacked US ships at Pearl Harbor.  Up to 1,177 lives were lost on this ship alone.  Quickly sinking into the Pacific, the USS Arizona became one of the few underwater graves in history.  Because of shallow waters at the site of the sunken battleship, pieces of the vessel can still be seen today.  Today, this battleship is a popular memorial site for the lives lost in the Pearl Harbor attacks.  Overtop of the ship is a white memorial building complete with an entryway, center viewing room, and shrine room where the names of the deceased are etched into the marble wall. Read More.

WWII From Beginning to End
Before you arrive at Pearl Harbor, your tour guide will provide a brief history of the first attack on the US during World War II at Pearl Harbor. Arriving at the Arizona Memorial, you will view a historical film with authentic footage of the Pearl Harbor attack and then be taken to the Arizona Memorial aboard a Navy shuttle. At the Arizona Memorial, visit the Shrine Room and reflect on the names of the 1,177 men resting on the sunken battleship below.
